poor soundproofing electrical issue
i was really let down by a few things. the room was supposed to be soundproof, but i could clearly hear my neighbor talking on the phone until 3 am. then at 8 am, the maintenance team started working in the next apartment, and the noise was constant. there was also a weird electrical issue where the power kept cutting out for no reason at all.

fresh pastries prompt service
The breakfast buffet had diverse options (especially the freshly baked pastries). The staff provided prompt service at the pool. I appreciated the hourly complimentary canapés. The hotel has a dreamy jungle style, much better in person.
The elevator took a while sometimes.

delicious breakfast afternoon tea great facilities
breakfast included many options and everything tasted delicious i was able to enjoy the pool during sunny days it was a nice dip the hotel facilities were also great the hotel provided afternoon tea

Mixed Feelings About This Stay
limited privacy underwhelming suite
The restaurant staff seemed cute and helpful. (A definite plus!).
My two-room garden view suite felt underwhelming. It was nothing special. The small balcony overlooked the village on one side and other hotel villas on the other, so there was no privacy to enjoy a cup of tea. I am not sure how it got the name 'garden view'.
